KATHERINE & FERNANDO'S TROPICAL WEDDING

Katherine and Fernando took us to the beautiful city of Mérida. We began planning this spectacular wedding, not knowing it would become so unforgettable for everyone. Katherine and Fernando, from Montreal, chose Mérida as the perfect middle ground between their two nationalities, and it was a wonderful choice.

Days before, the guests arrived in the city, and the couple welcomed them with a unique icebreaker dinner the night before. The wedding took place at the impressive Hacienda Temozón, the perfect venue to celebrate this special day. The ceremony, set in the lush jungle, featured a stunning floral arch, a flower-filled lectern, chair arrangements, and colorful petals lining the aisle to the altar. It was an intimate ceremony led by their dearest loved ones, full of tears and laughter, so emotional that it will forever remain in our memories.

After the ceremony, guests moved to the old mill for the welcome cocktail, where tables were decorated with spinning tops, yoyos, wooden rattles, and colorful scaled candles, while vibrant papel picado adorned the ceiling.

The reception was held in the Hacienda’s gardens, the ideal setting. The couple, being fans of catrinas, included colorful skulls and flowers in the centerpieces, and the dance floor and DJ booth featured designs with catrinas and the couple’s initials. It was incredible to create this wedding for them.
